Eagle Cape Cod

This Cape Cod style home was inspired by the original intentions of traditional homes along the shores of Cape Cod in the 17th and 18th centuries. Built to stand up to the practicality of harsh winters, with steeper roof pitches, shingle exteriors and a central fireplace. It's simple and classical in design with priority given to the main floor central living area and the majority of the bedrooms upstairs. The 20th century versions introduced dormers and multi-pane window styles to combat the strong seaside winds.

While many of these practical features aren't necessary with todays materials and engineering, it continues to be an appealing and timeless look. This layout is particular to site it's being built on to maximize pond views on the uniquely shaped lot.  The plan is easily  adaptable to accommodate more bedrooms or straight views from the back. A large garage, work shop and RV bay house an abundance of vehicles and toys, while providing ample outside space for the serious garage/woodwork enthusiast. True to it's roots, the interior finishes show off an abundance of crown/chair/shiplap moulding, crystal door knobs, wood stair treads, custom cabinets and 2 large fireplaces. A traditional cape cod, with some transitional touches, make this custom design appealing to a wide variety of homeowners.
